Live Surgical Procedures in a State-of-the-Art Facility AIE is designed to promote exceptional skills to surgeons who wish to acquire superior implant dental techniques. Our faculty have extensive implant experience in the field and are experts in educating you with latest innovations and ethical models. This intensive Live Surgery program has been designed to give you the opportunity and confidence to practice innovative approaches to simple and complex implant procedures, bone regeneration, tissue engineering, sinus lift techniques, guided implant placement, dynamic navigation, and other surgical procedures. Patients are pre-selected with varioius levels of surgical complexity to match your clinical skills. All surgeries are performed by participants under direct faculty supervision. Participants can advance their surgical competence depending on the complexity of the cases and participant’s skill level. Description

Participant will Learn:

  • All patients will have a pre-operative CBCT scan
  • Pre-surgical prosthetic planning using CT/CBCT imaging and 3-D interactive treatment planning software
  • Patients will be provided for live procedures
  • Understand the “Triangle of Bone®” concept
  • Pre-surgical prosthetic planning concepts for single tooth to full-mouth reconstruction
  • Immediate extraction placement
  • Explanation of the “restorative dilemma”
  • To assess deficient sites for bone grafting procedures
  • Decision tree for choosing screw-retained or cement-retained restorative planning
  • Methods of surgical templates / surgical guides for variety of cases
  • Advanced surgical techniques for flap design and suturing, membrane use, and soft tissue management
  • How to manage a variety of grafting procedures
  • How to place single and multiple implants
  • Experience a wide variety of case presentations
  • Understand surgical set-up and instrumentation
  • How to grind teeth into bone grafting material with Smart Dentin Grinder
  • Osseodensification concepts and practice 
  • Participants Will:

    • Work in a cooperative environment of learning
    • Participate in didactic lecture sessions
    • Assist on live surgical procedures (optional)
    • Participate in a review of each surgical procedure
    • All participants MUST bring their own surgical loupes if needed (instruments will be provided)
    • Participants will learn Piezosurgical techniques
    • Participants will learn Phlebotomy, Centrifuge Techniques, Fibrin Membrane (PRF) & Sticky Bone
    • Mega ISQ readings with Osstell technology
